there has been a controversy over the causes of climate change some people believe climate change is bike human activity While others believe it is a natural cause but how are people going to have an opinion about it when in school there is in any knowledge provided about the topic the question do you look like cheese changing of weather changes caused by human activity or is it just a natural cause what influences you and what's happening around Earth in school right now you're in middle school right so have you ever had a class where they talk about climate change okay I take it back to the menteri do you remember any talk about climate change okay can you talk a little bit of what you guys started about kind of change I don't have that much knowledge over it so I waited know whether to tell you or not you talk to your Heroes parents of all time with no not at all toddler what elementary they mighta mentioned it here in there but in middle school I never help me in back it up and let no not really I don't believe say Buffet school and we're doing Exxon climate change because of the greenhouse gas is the carbon dioxide home or is it natural light causes or anything you as an environmental AP environmental teacher like I would like to ask you some questions on like what you think climate changes and the first question is people think climate change are caused by natural causes there has been proved that global I think it's important to take thought out of the equation and this whole idea of what we think because there is fact out there and when it comes down to it the scientific facts point to the fact that climate change is is being exacerbated and a majority of its of the of the climate change on his happened so far is due to me or open call the anthro so I've been learning about this in my AP class right and do you think climate change could anemia well what we see in science is that an increase in global temperatures does lead to more weather patterns so we do see stronger hurricanes would you see stronger Cyclones tornadoes we see changes in winter and summer weather patterns and it is possible that the most recent strong there's still a lot of a lot more research that needs to be done to understand how climate change specifically farming temperatures change weather so how important is it for students to learn a box I think it's very important being an AP environmental science teacher and it just being kind of a a scientist at heart and and really enjoy understanding I think it's important for everybody to understand the impact that they have and I think that all people understand that every choice can you make has an environmental and most of the choices and decisions that we make do usually have some type of contribution to climate change that's what the sign so growing up where you ever taught in or at home about 5 man could be possibly changing the environment was not something that was focused on and like hindsight being 20-20 we should have been I mean we should be thinking about the I'm so we as a society probably should have been making sure that the environment was a topic that was discussed in school the most important thing is to be able to read see where information comes from and if you have a hard time difficult time deciphering information and finding out what my future why not Outreach thank you
