Professional Experience

In her role as the Pupil Services & Attendance Counselor at our school, Ms. Medrano is committed to supporting students and promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion. Since she joined Green Design STEAM Academy in 2018, she's consistently shown her determination to create a safe and student-centered environment where every student feels valued and acknowledged. Before becoming a Pupil Services & Attendance Counselor, Ms. Medrano served as an Academic Counselor at the San Bernardino Unified School District for several years. Additionally, she has valuable experience in social work, having worked with a nonprofit organization in a family preservation program in collaboration with the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). Ms. Medrano's passion shines through in her collaborative work with colleagues, as she actively works to build trust with students and their families, all while fostering a supportive learning community.
